Shipper Number

On the Project Advance Ship Notice form, enter a number to identify the shipment. This number is not validated and is for reference purposes only.

On the Advance Ship Notice form, enter a value to be transmitted through EDI as the advance ship notice number (ASN). You can enter a number used elsewhere in the system, if you wish, such as the BOL number or the packing slip number. This number is not validated and is for reference purposes only.

Note: If you are using the CARaS interface, you will receive an informational message if the value in this field is not all numeric, or if the value is greater than 999,999,999.
