Ship To

On the Customers or Multi-Site Customers form's Ship To tab, this field appears in the subcollection grid.

On the Customer Ship-Tos or Multi-Site Customer Ship-Tos form, the system displays the ship to sequence number for the currently displayed customer number.

Note:  If the Ship To field is set to zero (0), several fields on this form will be read only; they are set on the Customers or Multi-Site Customers form.

This field is only enabled for new (unsaved) records. It will contain a list of customer addresses where no customer records currently exist. This will only be the case if this customer ship to record were created on another site and this customer is shared between these sites. In this case, the customer ship to record is replicated to the remote site, but the associated customer record is not.

If a Ship To is selected, the appropriate information from that ship to record displays on the form. In most cases, there are not any entries in the field. Therefore, this is not a list of valid entries, but a list of special valid entries that meet the qualifications mentioned above. There are no Find/Add/Details right-click menu options on this field because the Customer Ship-Tos or Multi-Site Customer Ship-Tos form is the primary maintenance form for this field and there are no other forms where this information is added or displayed.

If the Show in Drop-Down Lists check box on the Customer Ship Tos or Multi-Site Customer Ship-Tos form is cleared for a Ship To record, its sequence number does not display in a Ship To field. However, you can manually enter a valid sequence number without causing an error.

On the Move Local Customers form, select the local ship to number to be moved or enter 0 (zero) to move only the Bill To field.
