Promotion Code
On the Price Promotions and Rebates form, specify a code for the promotion pricing or rebate program. The code can include numbers and letters and be up to 10 characters long.
On the Customer Order Lines,Customer Orders Quick Entry or POS
Material forms, select a promotion code for the customer order line. Only
promotion pricing-type promotion codes applicable to the selected order line are included
in the list. When the code is selected, the Unit Price changes to the adjusted item price. If a Sales Discount had been specified, it is
overridden and set to zero.
Note: A promotion code cannot be specified for configurable
items.
On the Earned Rebate Credit Workbench form, select a promotion code for processing. Only rebate-type promotion codes are included in the list on this form.
On other forms, the promotion code is displayed for reference only.
