Order
Enter or select an order number. This number is a unique key identifying the customer order. Each time that a customer order is added, the system increments the largest available customer order number in the file.
Note: If you are using an order prefix (set in the Order Entry Parameters form), the system, when incrementing order numbers, will look for the last number that begins with the prefix and ends with a numeric digit and will add 1 to it. The system will ignore numbers that contain alphabetic characters after the prefix. If you are not using a prefix, the system will look for the largest order number and add 1 to it.
On other forms, the order number is displayed.
