Internal Email Address

In the text field, enter the contact's email address.

You can also click the field label to initiate an email to the contact.

Separate multiple addresses with commas or semicolons.

Note:

The system does not validate email addresses to ensure that they are in the proper format.
When you click the field label, the system uses the default email client to open a new email window. If you have an email address in the field, the system automatically populates the To: field with that address.
If you do not have a default email client configured for your system, clicking the link does nothing.
An internal email contact is a rather arbitrary designation for this email contact. One possibility is that you can use it for a contact for that customer within your own company (as opposed to a contact in the customer's organization). You can also use it as a secondary email contact.
