Golden Tax System VAT Overview
The Golden Tax System (GTS) is a system developed by the China Tax
Bureau (CTB) to register and pay VAT. As per legal requirements, companies registered in
China can issue VAT invoices only using the government owned Golden Tax System (GTS). The
GTS issues GT numbers for the VAT invoices sent to it.
The Generate VAT File form is used to generate text files that can be imported into GTS.
The Import VAT Files form is used to generate text files that can be imported into GTS.
The Posted Invoices form shows all posted invoices that have a VAT status of Complete and Not Used.
