Extend models in extension space

Extension space is a space where you can manage your modeling changes. Sources can be based on existing sources or can be loaded from Data Lake or other outside resources.

  1. Create new extension space in the tenant.
  2. Import data from Data Lake or other sources.
  3. Create package in Source space, Model space and ConformedDimension space.
  4. Connect the packages to extension space.
  5. Modeling in extension space:

    • Modeling Dimension table

    • Modeling the Facts

    • Add hierarchy and grain

    • Assign the Hierarchy Level key to the Primary Key of the Dimension Script

  6. Publish in extension space.
  7. Create extension package.
