Extend models in existing spaces

This section describes how to extend models in existing spaces.

Review these questions:
  • Is the extending source table or dimension table or fact table in Appendix A? If no, you need new sources.
  • Is the extending dimension/column in Appendix B? If no, and the table is a new source, you need new dimension sources.
  • Is the extending fact/column in Appendix C? If no, and the table is a new source, you need a new fact.
Proceed to the appropriate step based on your need:
  • Step 1: Add new data source from Data Lake or other types
  • Step 2: Dimension modified
  • Step 3: Fact table modified
