DMZ server

The use of a DMZ server is optional.

On the DMZ server, the IDO Request Service and WSWebClient web applications are installed on a machine without the full application server components (IDORuntime, TaskMan, etc). You would choose to set up a DMZ server if you do not want to expose your application server directly to the internet and do not want to place a load balancer or other hardware between the application server and the internet.
