Importing ERP-related definitions into Document Management

If you are upgrading from an earlier version of this integration, see the information about Upgrading Document Management features in the administration guide help.
  1. Log into the Infor Support Portal site and go to KB article 2156576, which includes SyteLine content files to be imported into Document Management.
  2. Download the appropriate XML file to a local folder.
This file contains document type definitions, Access Control List (ACL) security definitions, bundling rules (also known as related documents) and a business context model (BCM) that is used to link context-sensitive documents stored in Document Management to the appropriate forms in SyteLine.
  3. In Infor OS, open the Document Management app as a user with the IDM-Administrator role.
  4. Click the ellipses (…) and select Control Center.
  5. Select Administration > Import/Export.
  6. Click the Import tab.
  7. Browse to the IDM_Configuration file from step 3.
Depending on the version of Document Management, you might see a message that shows the impact of the import configuration file.
  8. Click Import.
  9. To confirm that the import was successful, return to the Documents page, click Document Type and look for items with a “CS_” prefix.
