Employee

On the Employees form, enter the number to use to identify this employee. This number is used as a reference throughout the system to record or retrieve information.

When adding an employee, the system payroll automatically defaults to the next number available.

Note:  If you are using an employee prefix, the system looks for the last number that begins with the prefix and ends with a digit and increments it by one. If you are not using a prefix, the system looks for the largest number and increments it by one.

On most other forms, enter or select the number of the employee from the Employees form.

On the Work Center Machine Time Error Processing and Work Center Material Error Processing forms, enter the employee number of the worker whose machine time hours you are recording. This number must exist in the Employee master file.

On the Work Center Material Error Processing form, enter the employee number of the worker who issued the material.

On the Export Employee Information to EPI form, the number of the employee whose data is being exported is displayed.
