Allow Currency Rate Override

This setting determines whether or not a currency exchange rate can be overridden in your system. When selected, the exchange rate can be overridden on transaction forms. You can also specify the override tolerance type and amount to be used.

On the Multi-Currency Parameters form, this is a system-level setting. You can clear the setting for a selected currency code on the Currency Codes form.

However, if Part of Euro is selected for the currency on the Currency Codes form, then the currency exchange rate cannot be overridden, even if this Allow Currency Rate Override option is selected.

Note: If you clear the Allow Currency Rate Override option on the Multi-Currency Parameters form, then even if the setting is still selected on the Currency Codes form, overrides are not allowed.
