Auto Item Creation
This field indicates if an Intelligent Part Number (IPN) item should be created when a
configuration from CPQ indicates there is an IPN.
Note: This applies to the top-level
item on the order. In the case of sub-configurations, IPN items are always created
if the configuration calls for that.
The choices are:
- Always: The system automatically creates the IPN item if the configuration indicates there is an IPN, after order configuration is complete.
- Never: The system does not automatically create the IPN item, after order configuration is complete.
- Prompt: You are asked if you want to create an IPN item after order configuration is complete.
