Assigning a user to a group

  1. Open the Users form.
  2. Select the desired User ID.
  3. On the Groups tab, select the Group Name from the drop down list.
  4. Save the record.
    Note: When you assign a user to a group (for example, user Bob is assigned to the Accounts Payable Group), that user gets access to all the forms associated with that group. If you want user Bob to have most of the access associated with that group but not all, you need to edit the user authorizations for user Bob. SeeEditing authorizations for a user in a group
