Managing Features

Some new functionality is disabled by default, which provides an opportunity to fully understand how to use the features before enabling them. After a feature has been activated, it appears on the Activated Features tab.

Caution: 
Once activated, features cannot be deactivated. Pre-release features should not be activated in a production environment.

Follow these steps to activate a feature:

  1. Open the Feature Management form.
  2. If you want to enable a generally available feature, select the Available Features tab.
  3. Select Activate next to the feature you want to activate.
  4. Click Save.
  5. If you want to enable a pre-release feature, select the Pre-release Features tab.
  6. Specify the activation key for the feature that you want to activate. Contact your Infor Support representative for more information about obtaining pre-release activation keys.
  7. Select Activate next to a feature to which a key has been applied.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Log out, then log back in to see the newly-activated feature.
