Deleting stranded sessions

If SyteLine terminates unexpectedly, it is possible that stranded user sessions might exist in the ConnectionInformation table.

In a Named User licensed environment, this could prevent users from accessing forms or IDOs in licensed modules where the maximum number of license tokens is shown as consumed.

In a usage-tracking environment, this does not prevent users from accessing forms or IDOs. However, stranded sessions are shown as consumed modules in Infor compliance queries, which could result in reports that licensing limits are exceeded.

Use the Session Management form to delete the stranded sessions.
