Infor Government Solutions (IGS) logon

Infor Government Solutions (IGS) provides the multi-tenant production environment that follows NIST 800-53 security controls and additional FedRAMP guidelines. The primary purpose is to serve government cloud customers, but IGS is available to other customers in need of enhanced security.

The steps to logon to a hosted IGS environment are listed here. Registration is necessary before you gain access in IGS. The IGS tenant administrator must select the identity management solution (IdP) from the list of several IdPs that are compatible with Infor Ming.le™. MS Active Directory is a widely-used IdP, but we use Okta in the steps as an example to illustrate an alternative to MS AD.

  1. Navigate via a browser to the URL provided by your System Administrator.
  2. Review Terms of Service given by US Federal Government Services and then click Cancel or Continue.
  3. Respond to the Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) prompt. This prompt is required only for first-time users.
  4. Choose one of the listed modes for authentication. In this example, Cloud Entities and Okta are your choices. Cloud Entities is always a choice, but Okta may be different depending on which IdP you chose during registration.
  5. Specify your user name and password.
  6. Click Sign In. If sign in is unsuccessful, you receive a message to contact your System Administrator. If sign in is successful, the Infor Ming.le application is displayed.
