Adding an IDO project

An IDO project is a group of one or more associated IDOs. Every IDO that is created must be created within an IDO project. Should you need an IDO project that does not meet the need for your new IDOs, you can create a new IDO project. This must be done before you can add your new IDOs.

  1. Open the IDO Projects form and execute Filter-In-Place.
  2. Initiate an action to create a new project.
  3. In the Project Name field, provide a name for your IDO project.
The name must follow these rules:
    • It must be unique in the objects database.
    • It must consist of alphanumeric characters only.
    • It can contain no spaces.
    • It must begin with a letter (not a number).
    • It can be no longer than 30 characters.
  4. Optionally, provide a Description of the intended purpose for or use of the IDO project.
  5. Save the project.
The system creates the IDO project. Once it is created, you cannot modify it further, except for the Description.

From this same form (IDO Projects) you can create IDOs for your project by clicking New IDO and using the IDO Wizard.
