Planning Horizon Calendar
Use this form to enter starting dates for MRP, APS, and master planning horizon display periods. These periods organize the output data that displays in the Planning Summary Display, Master Planning Display, Master Planning Report, and Exceptions Report. This information is for display only and does not affect consolidating requirements into planned orders.
You can enter an unlimited number of periods. However, the start and end dates on the Planning Horizon Calendar must fall within the range of the MDAY start and MDAY end dates set up on the Planning Parameters form. The system uses these dates wherever bucketed periods appear, as in the Planning Summary and Master Planning displays and reports.
For the various output forms and reports to function, you must enter a minimum number of planning horizon periods:

If you do not enter enough periods into the Planning Horizon Calendar, this message displays when you access one of the above forms:
Must configure Planning Horizon Calendar with enough periods Last Horizon Found = 99/99/99
Normally, you maintain the Planning Horizon Calendar for a year into the future.
