Order Action Report

This report shows the planned orders (PLNs) you must firm for a given item to be available when needed. You can produce this report for a range of planner codes, items and dates, for item sources of Purchased, Manufactured and/or Transferred.

The report includes the order number, which is the planned order number that was assigned to the order. When you enter the actual order, the system no longer uses the planned order number.

The item, description, and quantity display with the suggested release date and the due date that the part is needed.

You run this report by entering a range of planner codes, items, and dates. When you enter the range of dates, the report displays only the PLNs with a particular date criteria, and this criteria depends on the planning mode you are using. The same calculations are used to generate the suggested release dates for the PLNs.

MRP: The report displays only the orders in which the due date - Dock-to-Stock Lead Time - Fixed Lead Time - Variable Lead Time - Paper Work Lead Time (counting only work days) falls between the From date and End date.
APS (both Infinite and finite modes): The report displays only the orders in which the release date (calculated by APS during the last run of the APS Planning) falls between the From date and End date.
