Type

This field applies to APS and the Scheduler.

Select the type for this resource group.

• Labor: The resources in this group are people. On the operation, Labor Hours per Piece/Pieces per Labor Hour will be divided by the total number of labor resources when considered by the Scheduler.
• Machine: The resources are machines. On the operation, Machine Hours per Piece/Pieces per Machine Hour will be divided by the total number of machine resources when considered by the Scheduler.
• Other: The resources are of some other type, such as fixtures.

On the Work Centers and Operations forms, the resource group type displays from the Resource Groups form.

On the Resource Dispatch List report, select the resource types to filter the report display.

On the Resource Group Bottlenecks APS form, the resource group type displays.

On the Contention form, select the type of resource groups to display. This field is only enabled when the All Resource Groups check box is selected.
