Supplementary Units Required

Certain commodities require measurement in supplementary units (for example, liters, number of parts, square meters) as well as mass (kilograms). An item's commodity code determines whether a quantity in supplementary units must be calculated for that item when providing EU SSD information.

To require that a secondary quantity be calculated for items with this commodity code, select this check box on the Commodity Codes form. This selection affects these forms:

• Blanket Line Releases
• Customer Order Lines
• EU SSDs
• Purchase Order Blanket Releases
• Purchase Order Lines
• Project Resource Shipping

On these forms, you can override the Supplemental Units Conversion Factor, or accept the default (set in the commodity's Conv Factor field on the Commodity Codes form).
