Status

This field indicates whether the item price request has a status of Requested or Closed. The status is set to Requested by default when you create a new item price request. You can change it to Closed at any time, and an email notification is sent to subscribed vendors to let them know the request is no longer active.

An item price request is set to Closed automatically if you select a vendor response and copy it to a purchase order or PO requisition. An email notification is sent to users associated with the vendor and also subscribed to the Item Price Request alert, to let them know when the request was accepted.
