Status
The status of the engineering change notice (ECN) line item displays. The default value displays from the Engineering Change Notices form. Valid entries are:
- Approved: The line item has been approved and can be posted.
- Hold: The item is not ready for posting. You cannot post an ECN if any of the line items have a status of Hold.
- Not Approved: The line item has not been approved. Rather than removing the line item, the system will move the line item into history as an unapproved request.
- Requested: The line item is in a requested state. You cannot post an ECN if any of the line items have a status of Requested.
Note: You cannot
post an ECN unless each line item status is either Approved or Not Approved.
