Seconds Per Cycle

This field is available only if the Molding Industry optional module is licensed and enabled on the Optional Modules form. Also, the field is used for only the first job (suffix = 0) in a co-job.

On the Job Operations, Current Operations, and Estimate Operations forms, specify the number of seconds required for each production cycle. This value helps to determine the machine and labor hours per piece, based on these formulas:

• If you have selected machine and/or labor hours per piece, the formula is (seconds per cycle) / (3600 x co-job quantity per cycle)
• If you have selected pieces per machine and/or labor hour, the formula is (co-job quantity per cycle x 3600) / (seconds per cycle)

In these formulas, co-job quantity per cycle, as specified on the Co-Job Orders form, is the summed quantity for all jobs in a co-job shared operation.
