Reference Type

Select a ref type for this record.

On the Engineering Change Notices form, your choices are:

• Purchase Order
• Job
• Requisition
• Transfer Order

On the Item Manufacturers form, use this field to define the reference types that will be available to select on the various customer order, purchase order, or production forms. If you have no item manufacturers defined, then all items of type Global will display. For example, when creating a customer order line, if you attempt to cross reference a manufacturer item to the order item, the Manufacturer drop-down field will display all approved manufacturers of this item that have the reference type customer. However, if no items of reference type customer exist, then all items of reference type global display. Possible reference types are:

• Global
• Customer
• Production
• Vendor
