Enter the rank of the new stockroom location. The primary location has a rank of 1. When job material transactions of CO shipment transactions are automatically generated, material is pulled from the primary location until the On Hand is zero. Then, material is pulled from the next lower rank.

When purchase order receiving transactions are automatically generated, items are received into the primary location. The system initially creates a stock location for each item named from the Default Location on the Inventory Parameters form and with a Rank of 1. It is possible for you to delete this location, but another location must be defined for this item.
