Pick List by Stock Location/by Location
Select this field to sort the pick list by primary stock location of the job materials for each operation.
Clear this field to sort the pick list by job material sequence for each operation.
When you sort by stock location, the sort order is determined by the first location chosen for the job materials in each operation. When the first location item prints on the pick list, and there is not a sufficient on-hand quantity to meet the requirement, additional stock locations are printed to ensure the item meets the requirements.
Note: An item does
NOT appear multiple times on the pick list within a given operation unless
the item is on the BOM multiple times for that operation. Therefore, the
pick list may appear to be printing out of order.
Also, if the item is lot tracked, the Issue By field on the Items form overrides this selection.
