Original Quantity
This column maintains the original quantity that was required or was to be received by/from the associated reference. This quantity does not change when the Outstanding Receipt and Outstanding Requirement quantities are changed. By comparing the difference between the Outstanding Receipt and the Original Qty fields, you can determine whether a partial receipt or partial issue of the original quantity has taken place.
Note: The original
quantity shows the amount before shrinkage has been applied, if any exists.
The outstanding receipt shows the amount adjusted down for shrinkage.
Therefore, if any shrinkage exists, these two amounts will never be equal,
regardless of any partial issues or partial receipts that may occur.
