Item/Job Description/Job Item

On the Co-product Job Orders form, this field displays the lead co-product for the co-product job.

On the Estimate Job Order or Job Orders forms, enter or select the item name or part number of the item to be worked on this job order. The item may exist in the Items form.

Note: If the Show in Drop-Down Lists check box on the Items form is cleared for an item, it will not display in this field. However, you may manually enter the item without causing an error.

On the Estimate or Job Materials forms, this field (located on the top of the forms) identifies the item number or code being manufactured.

On the Job Cost Detail form, this code or number identifies the item being manufactured and it defaults from the job.

On the Job Operations, Estimate Operations, or Batched Productions forms, this field displays the item number or code of the item on the job or estimate.

On the Job Lot Merging form, both item fields (for both the Merge To Job and Merge From Job fields) default to the item from their respective jobs.

On the Production Schedule Item Materials and Production Schedule Release Materials forms, this field displays the item number or code for the production schedule.

On the Current Materials form, this field displays the item number for the current job from the Job Orders form. The first line of the item description in the Items form displays with the Item number.

On the Unposted Job Transactions form, this field displays the item associated with the job number you enter in the job field. For co-product jobs, this field displays the lead co-product of the job.

On the Unposted Job Transactions - Co-products tab, this field displays from the Unposted Job Transactions form. For co-product jobs, this field displays the lead co-product of the job.
