Inventory UCL/LCL

The Inventory Upper Control Limit (UCL) and Inventory Lower Control Limit (LCL) fields, used to indicate trending, represent the percent deviation from average. Deviation can indicate that a process is out of control, or trending toward a situation that is undesirable. Evaluation is made only against the total average cost.

This information is used on the Planning Summary form, in the Monthly and Monthly Plot tabs, to evaluate groups of items for out-of-tolerance conditions for a particular month.
