Fixed Overhead Cost

Enter the cost of fixed overhead to produce the current item. The system allows you to update this field if the following conditions exist:

• The item is using Actual (Average) costing.
• • The item's cost type is Actual (all cost methods) and no transactions have been entered for the item.
• The item's cost type is Standard, the Source Code is set to Manufactured, and no transactions have yet been entered for the item.

If a Purchase Overhead Cost has been defined for the item, this field displays that cost.
