Fixed Material Overhead
Enter the account number for the Fixed Material Overhead Applied account. The system will apply an additional percentage to this account number for the handling of materials. This amount will affect the job to which the item is being issued. Fixed rates do not necessarily increase as volume increases.
Note: This field maintains a G/L account number. The account number you
enter in this field must be a valid account number in the Chart of Accounts.
Also, the
Fixed Material Ovhd field is
enabled only if a rate is entered in the
Fixed Material Overhead Rate
field on the
General tab.
The system uses this account number during job material transactions, during job labor transactions, and when you complete a job and put it into stock.
