On the Engineering Change Notice Items form, the value displayed is the engineering change notice (ECN) number of either the last ECN you displayed on the Engineering Change Notices form or, if you bypass the Engineering Change Notices form and access the Engineering Change Notice Items form directly, the first ECN in the system.
