Days Supply Planning

This field determines where PLN consolidation occurs within APS planning logic. For more information, see the APS Algorithm.

If this field is selected, the accuracy of consolidated PLN quantities is increased by the introduction of a second planning phase. PLNs are consolidated after the first phase, then added to the original requirements for the second planning logic phase. Selecting this field causes the Sequenced Component Plans for Mfg Item Safety Stock field to be automatically selected and disabled.

Note: Selecting this field can significantly increase the amount of time it takes for the APS Planner to run.

If this field is cleared, PLN consolidation occurs after the planning activity is complete.
