BOM Type
Specify the bill of materials type to use. Every costing alternative should be based on either current or standard routings.
Note: The Standard
option can be used by only businesses that roll costs to standard in
SyteLine
using the Roll Current Unit Cost to Standard Cost
utility.
On the Costing Analysis Alternative Copy form, the BOM Type of the "destination" alternative determines your copy "from" choice; whether an existing costing alternative or an item BOM type.
On the Estimation Worksheet form, the BOM type displays. If the type is Co-product, the Price Basis and Price Basis Amount fields display in the grid.
