APS Order Batching
Order batching is used by the APS Planner to represent orders that share operations
at the start of their routes, also known as co-jobs. For example, while a single molding
fixture may contain several distinct molds, each of those molds share a single injection
molding operation. Each order in the batch is pull planned from their due
dates.
Note: APS only
supports batch operations that belong to co-jobs. Batches that are manually
created on the Batched Production form,
are not processed by the APS Planner.
