Example: End Tag Number

Assume there are approximately 9,500 item/location/lot combinations in inventory and that tags numbers are to be in increments of 5 (5, 10, 15, 20 etc.). The following calculation determines the End Tag Number:

ETG = ENC * I = 9,500*5 = 47,500

ETG = End Tag Number

ENC = Estimated number of Combinations

I = Increment

The following entries are made on the Set Tag/Sheet Controls form:

• Begin Tag: 5
• End Tag: 47500
• Begin Sheet: 1
• End Sheet: 1
• Last Tag Used:
• Last Sheet Used
• Increment: 5
