Journal Resequencing
Use this form to change the sequence numbers for the journal transactions. Resequencing does not change the order of the transactions; it changes only the sequence numbers. A range of sequence numbers can also be changed. For example, you can change 1, 2, 5, 10 to 10, 20, 30, 40.
You need to resequence a journal after adding a new transaction that falls between two consecutive transactions.
On the Journal Entries form, select . The Journal Resequencing form displays. When you enter the sequence values and click , the system checks to see if the values will generate a valid resequencing. If so, it performs the resequencing.
