Amount, Amount Due

For the selected due date, the invoice or debit memo amount that is due displays in the Amount field. The amount displayed is calculated based on the percentage indicated on the Billing Terms form for the terms code you used for the order.

On the A/R Invoice Due Dates form, you can change the amount for the due date or add a new amount and due date on a new line, and the total percentage for the invoice or debit memo will be recalculated to equal 100 percent. The recalculated amount only affects the invoice or debit memo and not the original billing terms.

On the A/R Payment Multiple Due Dates form, the amount for the due date displays in the Amount Due field. You cannot update it on this form. However, if you apply a partial payment from the A/R Quick Payment Application form, the system recalculates the amount due starting with the earliest due date displayed.
