Creating a "Full Form" with Form Builder

Form Builder is a form wizard that allows you to build simple forms in Runtime Mode, without having to use the Web Designer (in the web client) or go into Design Mode (in the Windows client. Although Form Builder provides a number of layouts and uses from which to choose, the procedure for creating a form with Form Builder is essentially the same.

The Full Form option creates a form with standard Mongoose-based application size standards.

Open the Runtime Builder Selection form by clicking the Runtime Builder icon on the toolbar.
From the Category drop-down list, select Form Builder.
From the Runtime Builder drop-down list, select Full Form.
Click OK.
Select the layout to use for your form, Form with Grid or Responsive.
Provide these values:

Enter the form name

Supply the name of the form to create.

Select an IDO to use with this form

From the drop-down list, select the IDO to use as the source of data for the form.
Click Next.
On the second page of Form Builder, from the list of Available IDO properties, select up to 20 properties to use on your form for a Form with Grid or up to 10 properties for a Responsive form.
When you are finished selecting the properties to include, click Finish.

The wizard generates the new form and launches it, as well as the tile form that is created at the same time (if you created a ). You can now use the new form to view, modify, and add records to the designated IDO collection.

If you created a Form with Grid, you can use the Grid View pane (on the left) to locate and select a particular record for further action.
