Creating a String object

  1. Launch the Web Designer.
  2. Select Edit > String.
  3. Click the New (+) button.
  4. Specify a name for the new String object in the Name field.
    We recommend that you create the String object as a translatable string, using the standard Mongoose string-naming guidelines.
  5. Click OK.
    The new String name displays in the list on the left panel, and the Properties panel on the right displays the property sheet for the new String object.
  6. Optionally, in the String Value field, modify the string to what the string is to display when used.
  7. Click OK.
