Using diagnostics tools with the Web Designer

To enable and use the diagnostics tools with the Web Designer:

  1. In the web client, from the View menu, select User Preferences.
  2. In the left panel, select the Diagnostics option.
  3. In the right panel, select the types of data to include in the diagnostics output.
    You have these categories of data from which to choose:
    • General – System information and security data
    • Form – Initialization, events, call details, component, event handler, validator, and variable data
    • IDO Collections – Initialization, commands, update, load, and notification data
    • Others – Interpreter data
  4. Close User Preferences (click OK).
  5. In the web client, from the View menu, select Diagnostics.
  6. Run the form or perform the operation for which you want to collect diagnostics data.
