Adding a data service by file import

To import a data service into your project, follow this procedure:

Note: The procedure to import a data service directly into the App Builder Repository is similar, but not totally the same. See Adding a data service into the Repository by file import.
  1. On the Properties panel, click Manage Data Services.
  2. In the Project Data Services dialog box, click + Add Data Service.
  3. From the drop-down menu, select Import from file.
  4. In the Import New dialog box, click the folder icon.
  5. Use the Open dialog box to navigate to, select, and "open" the data service (*.iads) file.
  6. In the Import New dialog box, click Import.

App Builder adds the the data service to the list of available data services.
