Reducing the number of rows returned in queries
Users can choose to retrieve all rows or any specified maximum number
of rows in queries. This option overrides a default limit set on queries that return data
records and items in drop-down lists. However, unlimited queries can degrade system
performance or exceed the resources of the application server and the client machine.
The process default WinStudio max record cap allows you to set a system-wide limit on the number of records or drop-down list items that users can query into forms. See the help for the Process Defaults form.
