Displaying FormSync messages in the log

During the synchronization process, depending on your settings, FormSync can record prompts and other messages in a log. You can later review this log to identify problems or how you responded to prompts.

To display FormSync log messages:

  1. From the File menu, select Log > View.
  2. To retrieve a particular type of message, select the check box next to that type. To omit messages of that type, clear the check box. Options include:
    • Progress
    • Warning
    • Error
    • Prompts
  3. (Optional) In the Text field, specify a filter on message text:
    • To retrieve all messages, leave this field blank.
    • To retrieve messages that consist of a known string, type the string.
    • To retrieve messages that contain a string, type part of the string and use the percent sign (%) as a wildcard character. For example, to retrieve only those messages that contain abc, type %abc%.
  4. Click Refresh.
