Mongoose updates
New keywords to add to form event handlers and validators
A mechanism that enables you to add in form event handlers and validators that are easily merged with vendor changes without or minimal form sync prompts is now available.
These keywords can be added to form event handlers and validators that are only provided for site, group, and user-level versions of forms:
- KEEP (FIRST)
- KEEP (LAST)
- KEEP (BEFORE)
- KEEP (AFTER)
Enhancements to App Builder
These enhancements are added to App Builder:
- The ability to select and bind from multiple rows in a Datagrid list
- The ability to export the contents of a Datagrid component to an Excel file or CSV-formatted file
Selectively regenerate replication triggers
The Regenerate All Triggers check box has been added to the Replication Management form.
When selected, replication triggers for all tables used for replication are regenerated. When cleared, replication triggers only for tables with modified database objects and settings used in data replication are regenerated.
Added new core languages to the application install
Arabic and Romanian languages are added to the Language pack folder.
New form to purge active background tasks
You can now use the Active Background Tasks Purge Utility form to purge active background tasks that are in READY status and to remove pending background tasks that are created accidentally.
New diagnostic features
In Trace Viewer, you can now view variables created or maintained by Mongoose runtime and referenced by forms.
In the Diagnostics window, you can now submit expressions to be evaluated by the Mongoose Parsing Utility.
Adjustments to TaskMan operating in the cloud
A number of adjustments are made to the TaskMan service to operate more efficiently and effectively for multi-tenant cloud customers.
The TaskMan service is now set to ignore or alter responses to certain tenant-scoped settings. Other settings designed to work better for tenants in the cloud are also added or adjusted.
Improved processing of inbound BODs
The inbound BODs are now processed in batches to avoid collisions as multiple instances of the service try to get the same BODs for processing.
Previously, the default batch size was 100. In this release, the default value is changed to 20.
Time limits for REST tokens
Previously, REST tokens used for user authentication had no time limit and never expired. To meet the security standards, the ability to set time limits after which user tokens expire is added. Toward that end, a new process default is also added to allow system administrators to set the expiration period.
New Smart Help context application in Infor Operating Service
Mongoose now works with the Smart Help context application. Smart Help provides access to information related to the currently displayed form, such as documentation as shown in the online help and links to Knowledge Base articles or training materials.
You can attach your own procedural or training guides in the Infor Document Management application and associate the content with a form’s screen ID. The links to the guides will be displayed in the Smart Help application when the form is opened in Mongoose. See Infor Smart Help Administration Guide.
Ability to drag and drop form tabs in the web client
In the web client, you can now drag and drop form tabs to reorder form tab panels.
