About expression binding
Expression binding is a kind of data binding that you can apply to Static,
Edit, Barcode, and Multiline Edit components.
This type of binding expands the capabilities of forms and reduces situations where form scripts or extended IDOs are required.
Properties, variables, and component values, in combination with functions,
are used to display expression-based values. Math, logical, string or text manipulation,
aggregate, and date-based functions are used to create the expression. The expression is
stored in the component data source in the form of expression( expression ).
