Derived value

In Windows client, the value of a component whose data binding consists of substitution keywords, literal values, or a combination of both. For example, an edit box with the data-binding specification Customer number P(CustomerNum) displays the literal string Customer number followed by the value of the CustomerNum property of the current IDO item. The component is not bound to an external data source.
