Data types and properties for components

A component automatically assumes the data attributes of the IDO property to which it is bound. Data properties are inherited or overridden at any point in the WinStudio inheritance hierarchy.

You specify data type, such as decimal or currency, for a component by setting the Underlying Type property. Other data properties for components include Length, Decimal Point Position, Round, Boolean True, Boolean False, and Data Type Validation Message Override.
